Are you craving a burst of fruity flavor on your morning toast? Look no further than this delightful Seedless Blackberry Jam recipe. Made with simple ingredients and just a touch of Asian inspiration, this jam is sure to become a staple in your kitchen.

  • 2 pounds fresh blackberries
  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

  1. Start by washing the blackberries under cold water and patting them dry. Remove any stems or leaves.
  2. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, combine the blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the pot over medium heat and stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Once the sugar has dissolved, increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil. Continue boiling, stirring frequently, for about 20-25 minutes or until the jam thickens.
  5. While the jam is cooking, prepare your jars by washing them in hot, soapy water and sterilizing them in boiling water.
  6. After 20-25 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and perform a “plate test” to check the consistency of the jam. Place a small amount of jam on a chilled plate and let it sit for a minute. If it wrinkles when you push it with your finger, it’s ready.
  7. Once the jam has reached the desired consistency, carefully transfer it to the sterilized jars, leaving about 1/4 inch of headspace at the top.
  8. Seal the jars tightly and let them cool to room temperature. As the jam cools, you will hear a satisfying “pop” sound, indicating that the jars have sealed properly.
  9. Store the jars in a cool, dark place for up to one year. Once opened, keep the jam refrigerated and enjoy within a few weeks.
