  • 2 cups chopped clams, fresh or canned
  • 4 slices of bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


1. In a large pot, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pot and set aside.

2. In the same pot with the bacon grease, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
